| Center of Friends, 67 1/4" x 69 1/4", 1998 This quilt was a commission for a Professor's retirement from Plymouth State University in Plymouth, NH. The professor was greatly respected and loved by a circle of friends. To commemorate his contributions to them and to the community, they asked me to sew a quilt for him. I wanted to communicate the special place that he occupied in their lives. He was at the center of many friends. |
